Important Notice:

1.    The School of Accounting is phasing out its Distance Learning programmes with effect from 1 January 2011.

2.     The Advanced programme will be offered by distance learning, without any lecture support, and for the last time in 2012.

3.    Admission to the 2012 programme (no lecture support offered), will be restricted to students who are registered on the programme for the first time in 2011 and who are eligible to repeat  for the last time in 2012.

4.     Students who registered on the Distance Learning Advanced programme for the first time in 2011, and who withdrew during 2011, will be allowed to register for the last time in 2012.

5.    Students who are not otherwise academically excluded from registration in 2012, and who may have deregistered due to special circumstances in 2011 may, on application, be allowed to register for the last time in 2012. This is subject to approval of the Dean and the Head of School.

Students will be registered based on the understanding of items 1 - 5 above.
